New technologies
Runway has released a fundamentally new feature for Gen-3 Alpha. It allows you to generate visual effects and integrate them into videos.
The user needs to upload their source video, select a frame reference from it and transfer it to Gen-3 Alpha Image to Video to create an effect. Then you can mix the two videos using masks and color correction. In this way, you can get very complex visual effects without resorting to classic VFX.
A thread in X about the update.
Move AI has officially released Move Live, an AI tool for capturing real—time motion without special markers. It can read the movements of up to two actors at the same time and send the data to the Unreal Engine or Blender. Access can be obtained through a request on the website.
